Bergen, Bergen, Bergen. I LOVE this city. As of writing this post, I’ve been to Bergen three times and just spent a month here cat sitting!. As one of the “largest” cities in Norway, it’s honestly the perfect size for me. Big enough to have lots going on but small enough that every corner still feels ridiculously charming.

Saunas & Outdoor Swimming
Heit Sauna - A more traditional sauna experience for visitors! You have to reserve ahead of time, and you’re limited to 50 minutes.
Marineholmen - Swimming area where Heit is located. Saw a family swimming here without using the sauna. Just beware of jellyfish in the summer!
Nordnes Sjøbad - A more local sauna spot. It also has a heated pool and a TON of fjord swimming space. You won’t be limited on time either.
